Differential physiological response of slow- and fast-growing broiler lines to hypoxic conditions during chorioallantoic membrane development

چکیده

Ambient conditions during chicken embryogenesis, such as insufficient oxygen or changes in temperature, are expected to cause permanent phenotypic and affect their posthatch performance. Decades of genetic selection for high growth rate resulted with various physiological morphological that can the broiler fitness under environmental stress. To evaluate effect on responses challenge embryonic development, long-term implications, we have used a unique line, was not selected over 30 yr (since 1986), control modern commercial line. At day 5 (E5), embryos from these 2 lines were divided into treatments: 1) control; 2) 15% O2 concentration 12 h/day E5 through E12 period chorioallantoic membrane formation. Embryos hatched chicks characterized parameters. Significant differences relative embryo weight yolk consumption found between lines. The line by higher metabolic rapid growth, supported hemoglobin levels hematocrit concentrations, whereas 1986 had slower metabolism, lower hemoglobin, volume per 1 g tissue indicating availability. Both exhibited heart rate, blood parameters corresponding cardiovascular system adaptation after hypoxic exposure, seemingly implemented increase oxygen-carrying capacity tissues. Our finding stand agreement led metabolism without fit system, increased imbalance supply demand.

Differential Macrophage Response to Slow- and Fast-Growing Pathogenic Mycobacteria

Nontuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) have recently been recognized as important species that cause disease even in immunocompetent individuals. The mechanisms that these species use to infect and persist inside macrophages are not well characterised. To gain insight concerning this process we used THP-1 macrophages infected with M. abscessus, M. fortuitum, M. celatum, and M. tuberculosis. Our resu...

Physiological Response of Quinoa to Nitrogen Application under Salinity Conditions

Salinity stress is one of the major abiotic stresses which injures plants by limited water absorption and nutrient imbalance and limits crop growth. In order to study the effect of nitrogen fertilizer on physiological traits of quinoa at high salt concentrations, a greenhouse experiment was conducted in a factorial arrangement based on a randomized complete block with three replications in 2019...

Is the activity lesion specific or generalized? What are the factors responsible for the survival of transplanted melanocytes? Are these patients vulnerable to recurrence or loss of pigment in the lesions treate...

Response of Chickpea Lines to Ascochyta rabiei at Two Growing Stages

During winter 2004 and 2005, two field and glasshouse experiments were conducted to evaluate the response of 471 chickpea genotypes to Ascochyta rabiei, as Ascochyta blight (AB) disease in Chickpea (Cicer aurietimum). Frequent rainfall at flowering and pod formation stages made favorite conditions conducive for the infection and symptoms expression. So, the genotypes with high level of toleranc...

Differential expression of angiogenic and anti-angiogenic molecules in the chick embryo chorioallantoic membrane and selected organs during embryonic development.

In this study we have investigated by real time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) the expression of cytokines, which are well known angiogenic and anti-angiogenic molecules, during chick embryo development in four organs, namely the chorioallantoic membrane (CAM), heart, liver and optic tectum at four different stages. We have studied the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor-A (VEG...
